Traditional Garden Design

An agricultural field spanning four acres was reclaimed and transformed into an expansive garden. The design blends traditional form and contemporary planting styles to integrate a rural Farmhouse with the surrounding landscape.

A formal parterre, Pear Orchard and traditional Water Garden provide structure close to the property, giving way to a more organic form and naturalistic plantings towards the margins of the site. Sculpted mounds are sown with meadow grass and wildflower and interspersed with native Birch and Pine.

To compliment an expansive soft-scape installation, sculptural Drystone walls were crafted to form arching curves. A Moongate offers access to a sunken fire-pit and Moonwindows frame viewing apertures in the lower garden.
